“Is this not a true autumn day? Just the still melancholy that I love – that makes life and nature harmonize.”– George Eliot
The Letting Go
I am constantly taking deep breaths in these days, it’s as if I want to inhale the new hope for the letting go. I am slowly embracing the inevitable changes that usher in one of the most beautiful times of the year. I long for the ease with which the leaves change, the air cools down, and the days golden hours quickly embrace the chilly night.
I instead want to hold on to the known, I struggle with cooling down, and the shorter golden hours make me feel cheated. Yet, if I stop and pay attention I can capture the truth that nature is exhibiting for me. There is freedom in the letting go. There is newness underneath the known, there is deeper meaning under the surface, and the night brings rest.
Music is a beautiful usher, it leads my soul to deeper communion with my Creator. I have done the hard work for you and curated a play list that will usher in the letting go yet fills your soul with hope.
I invite you to join me to listen to play list below exhale the tension out and inhale in hope. Be blessed.
I’m now sure if you know, but my friend Rachel and I started a Podcast. What?! I know I’m still a bit shocked myself. Come and join me there and be encouraged!
